INTRODUCTION:
It is not the most intelligent and hard working person that always succeeds in life. Success comes only from God. Hence, the meeting of our needs does not depend on the supply in our hands but the blessings of God upon the supply (Math 14:19-21).
There is no limit to what God can do, we can’t measure the blessings of God (Gen. 1:28). Fruitfulness and Multiplication is a command to us.
The blessings of God turns table of obstacles to blessings (Proverb 10:22).
CATEGORY OF GOD’S BLESSINGS
1. Physical Blessings – Food, house, promotion, divine healing, breakthrough, families, good friends, career are all included in the category.
2. Spiritual Blessings- (Eph 1:3) Redemption, riches of God’s grace, forgiveness, freedom from bondage, peaceful life etc, are included in this category.
However, just as it’s not every child who is entitled to a gift from his earthly father gets it, so also some children of God may not enjoy or receive the blessings of God for some factors.
WHAT ARE FACTORS THAT LIMITS GOD’S BLESSINGS?
1. Forces of darkness or adversaries (Dan 10:2-19). There are territorial power that the forces of the enemies can use to delay and frustrate blessings being released to children of God.
2. Self can limit us from unlimited blessings as the work of flesh can make us join forces with the enemy(Gal. 5:19-21). These can give the enemy the legal ground for afflictions.
Our faith is important to activate the blessings of God as gasoline activate the car engine so is our faith. You work, pray and have faith in God. Faith is the substance of things hope for. When you start working by faith you will be an addict to your faith. God created us to bless us.
